Since last November 10 until next Saturday 27 will be open at the Provincial Center of Culture The classrooms, the exhibition of the finalists for the National Ceramic X Prize Castellón City.
In the opening words of this event, the mayor of our city, Mr. Alberto Fabra, presents us with activities, how are you, are "like to acknowledge the work of artists and also an industry that each day commitment to innovation, technological development and sustainability, not to mention the beauty and versatility of ceramics. " And so far, so good, but as the wise sayings popular love are no good reasons and intentions, and one thing is what is said and quite another to what some of our politicians.
I say this because it's funny how despite the high quality of works and the wide variety of proposals that it exhibits no doubt all very high level, the exhibition lacks the minimum information as a catalog support and serve as a support to help illustrate the importance, in the words of our mayor, said to give this activity, funny right?
not I who will tell our mayor and to do things in this sense, because to do so and has many advisors, councilors and other support that charge, and well also to ensure good governance, but I would say by way of reflection, that in these times, the recognition and prestige as a product as artists, if not guaranteed a good marketing and advertising support, few know of its existence and especially its unquestionable quality, because today, a product that is advertised does not exist. And this should know everyone, including our respectable Mayor too.
is why you will always be more convincing and practical, rather than the bombastic rhetoric of the speeches and wanting to embark on ambitious challenges, engage those who, although more discreet and humble, also deserve to be recognized and reported, even through a modest catalog, as indeed is the case at hand with this magnificent exhibition, which unfortunately will without pain and glory, thanks to which no one thought to make a modest catalog, pick up a faithful witness to an excellent exhibition and it is certainly that.
A wise man once said, "The best way to tell is to do." Perhaps this is the unfinished business of many of today's politicians in this country.
heartily recommend all of you visit the exhibition, because at least they can keep in your memory ever say that they witnessed a magnificent example as it is without doubt the National Ceramic X Prize Castellón City 2010.
