already drawing to a close this September I want to dedicate this opinion piece, two exhibitions are also nearing completion next week, I'm referring to Marc A. Pérez Oliva, which is displayed in the Municipal Cultural Center of our city, which as we all know is located in Calle Antonio Maura, 4 and Evan Socías Clara, which in this case can be found in the exhibition space of the Centre Castalia Cultural Iuris, located in the Plaza Cardona Vives, 9.

Undoubtedly some, are very different these two exhibitions, in Oliván Perez, there is a clear intention and interest in the discursive aspects of the work, and a respectful care in handling compositional aspects of bill, drawing and color. With strong influences of Pop, in the treatment of spot and everyday scenes, the comic spirit emphasized by the black contour line that highlights the shape of the object at times sketchy and the clear influence of the surrealism of Magritte, Oliván Pérez sample turns out to be a set of very good quality and even more pleasant in his presentation.

However

in Socías Evan, just find "entertainments" gesture, with no other personality and novelty in the proposal, rather than what could be a monkey to paint, although in defense of the ingenuity of early hominid I must say, the author also tries to sell us for a reasonable price, as demonstrated by a rudimentary guide to reflect this aspect and also accompanies the sample. It would have been more dignified and receipt, which the author had been worried before learning to paint, than trying to sell their bland "abstractions" but as we know no taste for everything, and for that reason I hope success in the sale.

It nevertheless very interesting in this exhibition of Evangelina partners, inconsistent and Tomey Angel particular words, which according to the rubric attached to, an art historian, which are exaggerated in their assessment disconcerting analysis and very high praise for the results we saw in the sample, something that actually exists in the exhibition even remotely, for more will make you want to please and impress the author. Know the reasons which led Mr. Tomey to make that assessment, but after reading his words, which are reflected in simple "catalog" of this sample (a single page) I can only doubt his critical analysis, knowledge about art and everything, and for me the most dangerous and important, his sense of responsibility as "expert" should be when exercising a critique that will be read by professionals in the industry, and for the wide public neophyte who visit the samples. I truly believe after reading his words on the page - catalog, which attempt (and I somehow manage) as carriers of a literary beauty that Mr. Angel Tomey should devote more time to write prose and poetry, articles critical and analysis of art. In conclusion

tell all of you who attend to see these two exhibitions, although it is clear after knowing my view that the purpose of this recommendation is diametrically opposed to the intentions of delight you will experience when you see them, but as the saying goes, everything is learned.
